​​NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is made up of all 44 GP surgeries in the local area. We are responsible for planning, monitoring and paying for most of the health services you will receive as a resident of Southwark. Our job is to make the most effective use we can of the money we have been allocated and make sure that it is being used to best meet your needs.

Local GPs are urging Southwark smokers to join the challenge that over 215,000 people nationally took up last year – to kick the habit for good this October.

Changes to HIV care and support services

Between May and June 2016, Southwark CCG, supported by our sexual health commissioning team, based at Lambeth Council, worked together to consult on proposals to change how people living with HIV access advice and counselling services.

Students urged to get vaccinated against meningitis and septicaemia as they start university

Young people going to college or university this autumn are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated against meningitis and septicaemia (blood poisoning) due to the MenW bug, one of the most aggressive and deadly strains of meningitis.
