​Pharmacy opening hours over Christmas

Pharmacies offer a range of over-the-counter medicines and advice for looking after your own health. Their opening hours will be different over the holiday time. Here's a list of which ones are open in Southwark on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day:


Jamaica Road Pharmacy, 182 Jamaica Road, North Southwark: 25 December open 8am to 8pm; 26 December 8am to 8pm; 1 January 2018 8am to 8pm.

Morrisons Pharmacy, Aylesham Centre, Rye Lane, Peckham: 25 December closed; 26 December 10am to 4pm; 1 January 2018, 10am to 4pm.

Lloyds Pharmacy, Guy's Hospital, Great Maze Pond: 25 December closed; 26 December 10am to 6pm; 1 January 2018, 10am to 6pm.

Lloyds Pharmacy, Sainsburys store, 80 Dog Kennel Hill, Dulwich: 25 December closed; 26 December 9am to 6pm; 1 January 2018, 9am to 6pm.

Asda Pharmacy, Old Kent Road, Ossory: 25 December closed; 26 December 9am to 6pm; 1 January 2018, 10am to 6pm.

Boots the Chemist, 289-291 Walworth Road: 25 December closed; 26 December 11am to 5pm; 1 January 2018, 11am to 5pm.

Boots the Chemist, 20 Rye Lane: 25 December closed: 26 December 11am to 5pm; 1 January 2018, 11am to 5pm.

Brockwell Park Pharmacy, 7 Half Moon Lane: 25 December closed; 26 December 10am to 4pm; 1 January 2018, 10am to 4pm.


The NHS recommends that you get requests for repeat prescriptions into your GP as early as possible and ensure your medicine cabinet is well stocked before the holiday period begins.
