Improvements to GP facilities in Peckham

Two GP surgeries in Peckham will be relocating to new premises where they will continue to provide GP practice services for their patients now and in the future.

Queens Road Surgery will be moving into purpose-built premises at 136 Meeting House Lane, SE15 2UA.

Acorn and Gaumont Surgery, currently located over two sites will be consolidating into Gaumont House. The first floor of Gaumont House will be used for administration and clerical services, meaning additional clinical space will be provided from the ground floor and the practices can operate more efficiently from one building.

These changes will ensure that more than 15,000 patients in Peckham are able to see their GP and nurse and receive primary care health services from quality premises.

The three surgeries involved are less than 0.2miles apart. Patients at Queens Road Surgery and Acorn Surgery have been supportive of the decisions to relocate through their Patient Participation Groups (PPG). Patients will see the same GPs and practice staff and access services in the same way; practice phone numbers will not change.

These changes are being implemented very soon. Acorn Surgery will be moving into Gaumont House on Saturday 26 November 2016, with services provided from Monday 28 November. Queens Road Surgery will then move into 136 Meeting House Lane on Saturday 3 December, with services provided from Monday 5 December.
