Help shape the future
of the NHS in Southwark and south east London
The NHS has to continually move forward so that in 10 years’ time we have a service fit for the future. The NHS Long Term Plan has been drawn up by frontline staff, patients groups, and national experts to create an ambitious but realistic plan.
Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL), a partnership of local NHS organisations, councils and other key stakeholders, invited you to help make some big decisions on what this means for our area.
Two types of event were held during July 2019:
These provided an opportunity to share your views and help shape the future of the NHS in that particular borough and across south east London. All six of the south east London boroughs had their own events.
The Southwark event took place on Wednesday 24 July, from 12.00pm to 2.30pm at The Garry Weston Library, Southwark Cathedral, London Bridge, SE1 9DA.

These focused on subject areas relevant to the whole of south east London. Local people were invited to attend as many of these events as they liked, in any borough, regardless of where you live in south east London.
You can read more information about all of the events on the OHSEL website.
OHSEL also asked people to take part in a short survey, to help in making decisions about the future of the NHS in south east London.
