Healthy Young People Southwark

HYP Southwark brings together a skilled and experienced team from both Brook and CGL. Our front line team includes reception workers, wellbeing support workers, nurses and young people’s resilience workers. All staff are trained to support young people with their general health and wellbeing in addition to supporting them with their sexual health or around their use of drugs and alcohol.

HYP Southwark provides advice and support around sexual health, drugs and alcohol and general health and wellbeing. The service also provides emergency and ongoing contraception, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), condom c-card scheme support and treatment for drugs and alcohol misuse and wellbeing support. The service can be found at a number of locations across Southwark.

The Southwark Local Offer

The Southwark Local Offer is a comprehensive guide to the services in Southwark and neighbouring boroughs that are available for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25. Southwark’s Local Offer was developed with parents, carers and children and young people with SEND.

The Local Offer is maintained and regularly updated to make sure that information is up to date and to take into account the suggestions and feedback of children and young people with SEND and their parents and carers.
